Comments: Nagarro S/W pvt Ltd. Gurgaon Url : www.nagarro.com Brand Value -Nill Career growth and onsite opportunities? Growth as far as package is concerned on an average its very good. You can expect a good hike after every six months but onsite opportunities are very less and for short term. How is work environment and how efficient is the communication b/w teams or department? In terms of Work environment this is not a good place. Company can fire if you are not up to their standards or there is shortage of projects. Also in terms of communication that is not very good place. Work pressure/Work - life balance. On an average workload is too much, that’s why they are offering hefty packages. A one-year experience guy can be designated as Senior Software Engineer and on an average after two & half years of experience there is big chances that you can be termed as Associate Team Lead. Satisfaction with salary and quality of work. Salary and quality of work is above industry level again it depends on personal satiation level What type of work they do: Product development, Services etc. Or if mix of these then what at percent? Major work they have is product development. Job security. This is the first company where I have seen this type of hire and fire policy. If you are not up to their mark you can be fired any time, also here personal relations are more important for growth, a good relations with HR department can bring you many rewards. This is first company where I have seen a HR can make your life like a hell. Some positives and negatives of the company. Positive: Work Standard (because it’s a pure product development so u can expect good work), Package Negative: Job Security, Personal Relations, No Transparency in the system, Work Environment Do you recommend your company to others? Yes or No and Why? No, as I have already mentioned after working here for one or two years you can not work anywhere else (On three year experience you will become Associate Team Lead and no company can take you on this designation), work environment is also not good, but still if you want hefty packages you are welcome to Nagarro. 5 of 5 people found this review helpful.

Well like many other i agree work env is not very frndly.. many things r based on personal relations.. if u gel wel and go out for chais and sutta breaks.. staying late..u r good expectations r more.. zero process.. watever processes they r launching..... are bombing down with complete failure.. its all on papers.. as they r not ggiving any extra time... started to do low level tracking...... who can survive in this company.. no open communication.. happening.... they r able to survive by expliting pple... 7. 1. Brand value is nil, always unnecessary mental pressure which is more than workload. They pretend personnel relationship with you and would not hesitate in ringing your personnel cell phone at 3 A.M in night (so often) although they would not attend to your concerns via email/call in day time also. 2. Commitments are never kept; on joining they generally bargain with “we will increase your salary after 3 months” which will not be implemented before 1 year unless you own the critical dependency. 3. HR policies are not clear and they can moderate them at any time for their convenience; earlier they don’t have concept of gratuity and now they are making gratuity as component of CTC which could be considered but at same time they are deducting the amount for past number of completed years from your bonus amount on the basis of your current basic salary; so there liability became there source of income as they would not pay if someone is leaving before 5 years. Thanks God I have left before facing these days. I would like to clear you guys that here bonus is not the performance bonus this is fixed amount paid after every six months which is component of CTC. 4. They can put you in any technology at any time i.e. if you are Java guy they can push you to work for PHP and in any case if you will say “No” to HR, on the very next minute you will get call from person who is holding the “C” position. Generally here QA’s are kept in projects for unit testing (as developers have enough load to kill their task) and are treated /valued so badly. 5. They put the guys in multiple projects even on junior positions like SE/SSE and you will be starched like rubber between managers of those projects. Pros: After working there you can survive in any organization. If you come in the band of experience of more than 2 years I would not suggest you to join there for few more bucks which in reaction will unbalance your personnel life. Fresher’s can join only if they don’t have any other option but don’t be there for more two years. Rest depends on your wish and situation. I wish you all the best for your growth and future. 6. If you want to work for 6 to 9 this is not company for you.. Pressure is always High, No Onsite opportunity, No work life balance, No Learning, No Process, No corporate culture... just work and work and which will not add value in your skills. This is development center in their terms quality group does not have any value addition so high difference in pkg of developers and QA's and where comittments are not kept. Think as much times as possible before going to join this company. 5. Sycophant By

Hi, Nagarro is a company of sycophants or in other words bootlickers or in hindi it is chamchass yeah i am working here ,problem with this company is that they don't have clear process of working u can never be sure of your role in organization,those who are good at boolicking have progressed here ,and they show u attitude here . company never does it's req gathering properly which in turn put pressure on both testing and development team. here most of the projects fail 'coz of this reason . company have some really gud guys but they can't do much 'coz most of it has combination of sycophants(chamchass) u can never be sure of quality of work here. my advice will be look for a company which give you security. here if you are not a sychopant(chamchaa)and u r doing well chances are less tat u will get appreciation. 4. I do not think somebody who is sitting idle and not performing should deserve to stay. Moreover, the blog is less of criticism and more of personal grudges. This is a GOOD company and people becoming ATL in 3 years pave their way to success. They work hard and not sit under performing. Packages are GOOD because roles, skills of the employees are GOOD. Work environment is not related to your performance. If you are GOOD, you are good. Work environment is something else and when if one knows what it is, I am sure you would agree that it is GREAT in Nagarro. And it is GREAT to know that somebody who has worked in Nagarro (like the writer) does not know that major work is in Services, not Product development. There are Goods and Bads about any company, what makes the difference is your performance. The company can train you, but it cannot hold your hand and make you work or it cannot increase your IQ. Whats great about being a ATL in less th By Easy Rider 1) Whats great about being a ATL in less than 3 years. Here SSE and ATL are just a fools paradise. Most of the times ATL is doing development work instead of leading a small team. 2) Nagarro is a company of achievers . A big joke... although it has decent guys compared to other companies. 3) Work environment is real poor. U are expected to work overtime and there is lot of behind the scene process going on instead of frank, open and honest culture. U can expect HR people to lie without battling eyelids. @Techguy These point are not due to any personal grudges. I have been in company for more than 2 years and left for good. 1. By Sandeepan I never recomend that company as i have worked there. Its very true that there is no tranparency into that organization. There is pure exploitation without u even come to know. Moreover lots of partiality. Employees working are good but not the process. Few teams are really good. I have been working but left the company within 2 months because of all this reasons. what i have seen is that sometime they will keep person in bench and sometime overload with extra work Add your comment

), I would say Nagarro is a place and company for achievers and is a REALLY GOOD PLACE TO WORK.

No one likes his company his school his country.But since I have considerable IT experience and have worked in 4 other IT companies
i have the perspective of whats good and whats bad i hope this post enables Job seekers to have a correct perspective about Nagarro Software:
First of all the Good Points:
1. They pay very good money to its employess compared to the industry standards.I have heard people with 3+ Years of experience getting 7.5 LPA to 8 LPA
(this post was written in 2010 ).
2. Learning is very good. Work for here for two years and you will be the master.
3. Lots of opportunity: If you want to be a Project Manager at 6 Years of experience no problem they will make you one as long as you can prove yourself.
4. Quality of work excellent.
Now comes the negatives and beleive me there are a lot of them:
1. No Work life balance: Employess are considered coding machines and not humans.They expect every one to be as fast as efficient as Einstein
(Dear Manmohan,Sharad,Vikram Sehgal had we been einstein we wold have been either working with Google or would have taken Nuclear physics rather than working in your sweat shop) you get regular lectures from management to sacrifise your personal life for growth (No wonder many in top management are Divorcees). The basic problem with the company is that almost 80% of their clients are small comapnies and startups who hagle too much for timelines (as they pay per hour) so for a 40 Hour task you will get 15 , any guess what hapeens to your weekends and stress level?
2.Unfair management: The management here has absolutely no ethics.I have friends here who recently joined nagarro when they joined they were offered a different package on the day of joining they were given a new offer letter with 50-60 K gone.Most of the people didnt want to job hunt without a job so they joined and now the management is siteing policy change as the reason.
3.No sense of responsibility for Employees especially females: The cabs are in pathetic shape though i have heard they will be changeing them.Company fells no responsibility at all for any empployee many times cabs are too unfit to be driven insted of fixing the cabs they make you sign an undertaking saying the company will not be responsible if you die commuting in their cabs ,how cool. For females the situation is pathetic managers team leads do not care if females leave at 11:00 in the night cab drivers are adhoc and cabs break down frequently and take erratic routes (believe me they do not even pay toll tax to cabs so drivers do not go from toll road and isted take deserted routes) on top of that even at 11:00 females are not escorted by Guards. So ladies if you ask me a slower growth is always better than the risk to your safety.
4. Too much Preasure: As the deadlines are very rigid there will be too much preasure.
5.Mainly Short term onsite Opportunity: I asked them during interview if they have a long term onsite opportunity they said yes after joining i realized there long term is 3 Months :-( . The Kind of clients they have you will get mostly short term Onsite opportunity (1-3 Months).
Overall: I recommend this company for freashers who can come here and work hard and get a holding in life. But for everyone else I do not recommend this company. The way work goes here is not sustainable for your health and family life Its been less than an year and I am willling to join a saner place for 100K less.But if your priority is just work work and work they will really value you.
